Before & After.

It happened, we have officially moved into the Butterfly Bungalow! We have been in for 12 days now and could not be happier.

Moving day was hot, long, sleep deprived and amazing. The incredible movers are the same I used for my staging business, so the level of comfort and ease was what everyone should have on their big moving day!

Enough about the logistics though, you came here for some before and afters!!

Before: the first time we were able to visit the house.

After: speaks for itself.

We put in a lot of cosmetic work, but also a lot of work that will never be seen!

• new roof + new skylights

• new drywall ceiling in every room

• completely new electrical, including the breaker (we had original screw in fuses!)

• gut renovated bathroom

• refinished hardwood floors

• fresh paint on every inch of the house

• renovated laundry closet

• fenced backyard

• new light fixtures

• new to us fridge

As you can see, we did a lot of work in 3 months. It was so overwhelming and exciting and seemed like it took 3 years instead of 3 months. I cried and got frustrated and also laughed and got ecstatic so many times.

We still have a long way to go, a punch list for ourselves a mile long, and furniture to purchase. But we are here, we are so happy and have all the time to do projects.

Making home takes time, and I am excited to do it!
