The Job-

The role of the staging assistant is to provide support for the business in all capacities to do with staging a house for market. The position will provide the ideal candidate with an opportunity to learn about the "magic" behind providing a superior staging service for clients. We are seeking someone who is willing to learn and has a great attention to detail.

Interest or experience in interior design is a must. Additional duties include but are not limited to assisting with warehouse organization of decor, art, rugs and accessories; in addition to assisting our staging leads with prepping and packing for staging projects; de-staging installations and assisting leads onsite with staging projects.

Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and deadline-driven individual. This role also requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a creative eye. We also like to have fun at Curly Willow, so a positive atmosphere is essential to our day-to-day work.

Compensation is $20/hour to start, moving up to $30/hour after a 90 day trial. This is a contract employee position.

Scheduling-

Depending on the time of year, month and week, the hours that can be available will be flexible. Our busy months are March-October, where we tend to stage up to 4 properties and de-stage 1-3 properties per week. Some days we both stage and de-stage, and some days we have nothing but warehouse organization.

Ideal days/hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 3pm. Some days we start earlier or later and can finish earlier or later. Flexibility in schedule is key as your schedule can and will vary from week to week; day to day.

We do not work weekends, but do often work M-F.

Responsibilities:

  • Support lead stagers onsite with staging projects

  • De-stage and pack up properties

  • Assist lead stager with preparation for staging jobs

  • Manage and organize company storage facilities

  • Research and share project photos

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • A background in photography is a plus

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Access and understanding of Google Calendar, Sheets and Docs

  • Must be creative and detail orientated

  • Local travel is required

  • Access to an operational vehicle

  • Valid driver's license

  • Be comfortable and able to lift up to 40lbs
